Another first for EKC!!! 😅

In 11 years locksmithing, I’ve never had a T-shirt bought for me as a tip from a customer!

Some lovely customers that own a clothing company in New Zealand had a spare that they’d been planning to gift to a friend that couldn’t fit into it…..needless to say, I have a fair few more beers to drink before I will! (🙄🤫🤣)

Morning guys! Hope your Sunday is looking more interesting than mine 🤣

Quick video to show the picking of a couple of common high security cylinders, the ‘hardest’ locks to pick! 👀

Another ‘locksmith’ would most probably turn up to a lock out, see these on the door and get their drill out immediately, costing you more money for a new cylinder! 🤑🤦‍♂️

We put in the money and time into the correct tools and the practice to SAVE YOU MONEY and the inconvenience of getting new keys cut! 🔑👌

1x combination key safe correctly installed for the lovely Karen this evening!

Key safes should be fitted using the SAD principle (which I’ve only just thought of!):

S - SOLID fitting using appropriate fixings 💪
A - ACCESSIBLE to the user 👍
D - DISCRETE so that it can’t be seen from the front door 🤫

A locksmith’s Friday night! Sat practicing picking 3* security locks with a glass of the good stuff! Sad I know! 😆

But New tools + more practice = faster and better results!

Most ‘locksmiths’ turn up to a lockout, the customer having left their keys in their house, and immediately get their drill out, costing the customer a replacement lock and quite often damaging their door.

Picking allows me to gain entry, but allows you to keep using the same set of keys, reducing your costs! You’d have never known I’d been! 👌
