SeeHow

SeeHow See year-round colour in your garden using Seehow. It is a garden design tool for everybody - from children to garden professionals. A garden never stands still!

SeeHow began life as a way of comparing the colours of plants over the gardening year. There are thousands of plants, of every size, shape and colour and they all grow and change in their own ways over the seasons of the year. Books are all very well, but most are packed with words and surprisingly few photographs, whereas for most of us, the purpose of gardening is to create a visual experience. What we needed was a way to turn thousands of words into easily-understood pictures.

What an amazing spring it has been this year for flowering shrubs and small trees. But the blossoms are disappearing fast. Try not to miss them … they are absolutely fabulous!

‘Happy’, my little pigmy hippo, has become part of the family. He follows me around the house and loves to spend time in the garden, nosing his way amongst the colourful spring flowers. He is super-clever, communicating in so many ways and always seems to have a smile on his face! When not exploring the beds, his favourite place is one of the wide window cills where he sits for hours on end, keeping an eye on his kingdom.

SeeHow's latest blog
Do you have a favourite garden season or time of year? It seems many people favour spring. Probably, this is partly because of the simultaneous emergence of so many plants and grasses. Out in the fields farmers crops are poking their shoots through the brown soil creating a green film across the landscape. I liken all this activity to an incoming ‘green tide’. Combined with warming weather, these changes help to dispel our winter fatigue.
