This was one of the biggest patio upgrades we have ever done, over 140 square meters of 450 x 450 x 35mm concrete slabs install for a fantastic customer in Maesteg. As you can see from the photos the old concrete floor had deteriorated badly and had started to sink / subside causing a dangerous / tripping hazard. The old concrete was broken up and removed, then over 8 tons of MOT1 installed and whacked down, then a 50mm bed of sharp sand mortar laid down for the new concrete slabs to sit on. Also installed new drainage around the house to ensure that any rain water is carried away from the house to prevent and damp issues. Final touches included new garden wall and gate, 2x new gully drains, some adjustments to the rain water down pipe shoes and some LED lighting installed within the decorative gravel borders.

3 new door frames and walnut veneer doors installed for a returning returning customer in Maesteg. All doors were accompanied with the Newington black contemporary/ modern handles, latches and hinges. Also replaced all the door stops and architraves each side of the 3 doors. Customer will be doing the painting themselves.

Yet another shed / garage door replaced for a new customer in Maesteg, the old door had vertically rotted away so it was replaced using all quality treated timbers. 3No. Heavy duty galv hinges and latch bolt fired to a ledged and brace door all custom made.

It’s fencing and gates season!

New feather edge fence supplied and install for a customer in Maesteg approx 15 linear meters. Also made new ledged and braced gate with galv heavy duty hinges and latch bolt.
The old fencing had been installed poorly with undersized posts, untreated timbers and very few fixings. Why do some alleged contractors scrimp on using quality materials and fixings, do it right 1st time - it’s your reputation at stake so why compromise and the customer is paying good money and putting their trust in you.
