🚧Challenging Gender Stereotypes in Careers

On Wednesday 20th May the Careers Deparment welcomed Stacey Speirs into Year 10 Careers to speak to students about her hands on role in her family’s business R and R Speirs Contracts Ltd where she works in the area of grounds work.
Stacey is currently working on the final stages of the groundwork on our new school build. Stacey gave a very informative talk to 10NOC and stressed the importance of females not being limited in their choice of career pathway and that female representation in industries such as Construction/Ground works is growing and providing many opportunities for girls.

Many thanks to Stacey for taking time out of her busy schedule to talk to our students and in providing valuable advice to be considered when choosing their Career Pathways.

Small Project completed today🔴⚪️ We used the VubaMac Surfaces for a base coat partnered with their SRM for added strength and durability. We used their stunning “Ipanema beach” resin bound for a topcoat. This job turned out class! The video speaks for it self Vuba
