Involve Green Spaces

Involve Green Spaces Involve Green Spaces project, funded by Maidstone Borough Council and the UK Government, is improving 'green spaces' across Maidstone Town Centre.

Funded by the Government's Shared Prosperity Fund, Involve's Green Spaces project will be improving the appearance of a number of 'green spaces' identified in Maidstone Town Centre. We are looking for volunteers to get involved in their community and improve their wellbeing through gardening, while ensuring these sites look good for years to come! If you're interested in taking part, email [email protected] or call 03000 810005.

FREE wellbeing gardening sessions with Involve and Mid Kent Mind! ๐Ÿง  ๐ŸŒฑ

Gardening is a great way to support both physical and mental health. Our Gardening for Wellbeing volunteer group, which runs every Thursday from 10am to 12pm, is for anyone over the age of 18 looking to improve their wellbeing. It provides a space to come together and learn or share skills, whilst helping to look after Maidstone's beautiful Brenchley Gardens.

No previous experience or skills are necessary as sessions are led by Involve's qualified gardener, with specialist support and advice around improving your mental health available from Mid Kent Mind's Wellbeing Support Team.

For more information contact us at [email protected] or come along to meet the team at Brenchley Gardens. We meet at 10am by the park entrance next to Maidstone Museum.
