Recently a customer contacted us about a malfunctioning lights in his bathroom but what we discovered was far more intriguing ... 🤔

During our inspection, in the loft above the bathroom, we stumbled upon evidence of rodent mischief - chewed cables and droppings 🐭💩

Concerned about safety and the possibility of other electrical problems, we recommended an EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) 🔎

As expected, the inspection revealed additional issues throughout the property, which we promptly identified and discussed with the customer 🗣️

Together, along with our 5-star service, we decided to address these problems, leaving him with a safety certificate ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

and a warm and fuzzy feeling that his electrics were in sound condition 🤗

Work carried out:

- Replaced the fuse-board 🆕
- Replaced the 16mm Meter Tails and main earth 🆕
- Removed a socket in the cupboard 🔌
- Replaced the hallway single backbox that was cracked 🆕
- Clipped the cooker cable 🆕
- Replaced kitchen light for batten holder and bulb to ensure it was working 💡
- Replaced 3 x kitchen soffit spotlights 💡
- Rewired and replace 6 x wide spotlights in bathroom 💡
- Further investigated low insulation 🔎resistance readings on lighting, sockets etc.
- Installed new security light by the front door 💡
- Replaced 2 faceplates without isolators 🆕
- Installed battery smoke and heat alarm and radio link 🚨
