Night team four recently worked on London planes (Platanus hispanica), a tree known for producing allergenic pollen. Despite being outside peak pollen production, the team prioritized safety by wearing PPE suits (type 3) and dust masks (FFP1) in addition to standard PPE. London planes are characterized by leaves and seeds with trichomes (spiky hairs) that can potentially cause irritation.

The team successfully completed the task on schedule, with everyone finishing the work without experiencing any irritations. While a bit sweaty, there were no reported allergic reactions. Safety first!

Utilizing our MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) when necessary, and adhering strictly to the detailed tree report from our client, we’ve managed the job with the utmost precision and care. The removed logs were conscientiously sectioned and stacked onsite, while the tops were chipped for use in creating footpaths, highlighting our commitment to eco-friendly practices.
