New close coupled WCs, pedestal basins changed to vanity units, new taps, traps, wastes and bifold shower screens

Heated LED mirrors with shaving sockets and new rechargeable toothbrush holders (instead of shaving soclet).

Finished off with Zinsser PermaWhite to ceilings and skirtings and a fresh lick of Dulux on the walls

🏡 Steppe House – Howland Road 🩺✨

This place holds so much heart.

Once the old village doctor’s surgery, Steppe House is remembered fondly by so many locals who used to walk through these doors to see their GP. Names like Dr Ramsden come up often, and the stories people share when they pass by remind me just how much this building meant to the community.

I've had a few lovely conversations already with people who’ve stopped to chat – reminiscing about the waiting room, the friendly faces, and the sense of comfort this space brought. It’s clear: Steppe House isn’t just bricks and mortar – it’s a piece of Marden’s history.

Shower replacement, Welling, SE London /Kent

This customer bought a house where the previous owners flipped it, but on the cheap.

The shower was leaking due to poor fitting and improper tanking, which caused rot to part of the bathroom floor, which turned out to be.... WAIT FOR IT... **a kitchen end panel!!!**

So we ripped out, replaced and laid new quickstep vinyl flooring. A proper shower tray ensures no more leaks, is much more hygienic, and looks a lot nicer.

We brought the wall forward to accommodate the new size tray and fitted an adjustable height bar mixer, so in the event of replacement, if required, it's a lot cheaper and easier to change. 🚿

The shower panel was a great choice and blended perfectly, makes cleaning easier, and is a watertight way to ensure no more leaks.

The customer can rest easy now and shower without having to worry about leaks 💧

Works completed to repair leaking roof Bexleyheath we used the Tuff Stuff flexible GRP for this roof for a quick and cost effective repair.

- No need to strip existing roof: Can be applied directly over existing felt, asphalt, single-ply membranes, concrete, timber, or metal with proper preparation.
- Single-resin system: Utilizes one type of resin for both the base coat and top coat, simplifying application.
- Chopped strand mat reinforcement: A layer of glass fibre mat is embedded within the resin to provide strength and flexibility.
- Edge trim application: Specialized trims are used to seal around roof edges, flashings, and abutments.
- Fast curing time: Allows for quick walk-on times, enabling faster project completion.
- Highly flexible: Adapts to movement and expansion/contraction on the roof surface.

Asbestos roof removed on Garage, replaced with insulated metal roof. New UPVC Door and Window for security and warmth. Inside insulated with 100mm, boarded and plastered. New lighting, sink and associated plumbing.

Stitch crack repair work in Penge, SE London. This was not structural and so a helibar style kit was able to be used. The cementitious resin fixes twisted steel rods and creates a high strength bond in the brick to prevent further cracking. Cracking can be for a variety of reasons so it is always best to get a structural engineer to assess the reasoning behind the cracking and if it is likely to go further, with .stoneconstruction

Customer came home to find a hole in her ceiling and soggy insulation splatted on the carpet due to an issue with the boiler.

New ceiling boards, insulation, plastered, new coving and painted. Hall, stairs and landing given a freshen up too

All done in time for Christmas 🎄 🙌

A new flexible GRP roof covering in Bexleyheath.
The old roof was blistered, but the sub base was OK and needed recovering. Some people use felt, we use GRP.

This product is tough and flexible. Everywhere the resin goes is now waterproof.
