It is with great sadness we must post the news of the passing of Paul Ledsham, our Tunbridge Wells Grounds Maintenance manager. Paul had worked for C&A for 27 years starting as one of our first employees.

Paul’s management skills, plus his incredible loyalty, quickly led him to become the most important employee within the company. During Paul’s 27 years of service, he never had more than the odd days holiday, and very few due to sickness. His physical strength and fitness along with his undoubted strong character enabled him to continue working when many others would have stayed at home. Paul never had a bad word to say about anyone he worked with and often helped fellow employees who were either struggling physically or financially, expecting nothing in return.

Outside of work, Paul was a family friend, having spent many a day playing golf or fishing with him. He was always great company with his great sense of humour and positive attitude to life. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him and our thoughts go out to his family during these times.

RIP old friend.
