A successful morning on site, meeting with the conservation officer to agree stone repair samples for the plinth walls, timber repair strategy for condition discharge, and potential for review and improvement of the original rainwater drainage.

The further complication of a vehicle hitting the building was also discussed with a clear strategy for temporary and permanent repair discussed.

Whilst not always simple, being able to form an open dialogue with local conservation officers builds trust and speeds up discussions that would otherwise be stuck within the planning system.

Osbornes Architects have been working to extend the Ambassadors theatre at grid level making operation of rigging more accessible.

The works are complex due both the Listed nature of the building and its proximity to neighboring buildings meaning that standards for fire spread are at their strictest.

Osbornes provided detailed designs for certified systems and worked to improve access arrangements both internally and externally, allowing better maintenance provision for this section of roof.
