Recently we got a willow and a sycamore down that were sandwiched in a tight boundary spot.

As you can see from the photos, they were growing right up against the fencing and the neighbour's shed roof, along with hanging over a National Grid power box. We rigged them down cleanly and left the area completely spotless. Massive difference to the light coming over that driveway and the garden now! 🪵💥

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great bank holiday weekend! ☀️

We were out recently tackling a couple of jobs in one go here. We safely removed a storm-damaged conifer that was becoming a bit of a hazard, and also did some extensive deadwooding on a large Willow tree to tidy it up and make it safe. 🪓🌳

It’s amazing how much more light has been let through, and the garden is looking much better for it!

Safe removal of a big Pine tree! 🪓🌳

This one was really starting to decline and becoming a bit of a worry for the homeowner, so we got it down safely to clear the space. We also ground out the stump so they’ve got their lawn back and don't have to worry about mowing around it anymore! 🚜🌱

Everything was left tidy and ready for the garden to be used again.

Here is a job we did a while ago that I forgot to share! 🌳✨

Woodland Restoration & Selective Thinning 🌳☀️
This woodland was suffering from a closed canopy, which suppresses natural regeneration and impacts the overall health of the stand.

Recently, we've been carrying out selective thinning to improve the structural diversity of this local woodland. By removing the "suppressed" and poor-quality specimens — the majority of which were under 10cm diameter (DBH) — We are promoting the growth of the "final crop" trees and allowing light to reach the forest floor.
