Spare bedroom painted. A lot of work done on the walls. Clients was not looking for “perfect” finish, and just wanted for me to patch up a few things, but since I had a lot of spare Dalapro roll nova, I managed to skim all the walls, prime everything with Zinsser Gardz and finish everything with following colours:
- ceiling - “School House White 291” (F&B mixed into Dulux Trade Heritage Velvet Matt)
- walls - “setting plaster 231” (F&B mixed into Dulux Trade Heritage Velvet Matt)
- woodwork - “Schoolhouse 291” (F&B mixed into Dulux Heritage heritage eggshell).

Past work - Office finished for client. Loads of taping, confirming with the clients the shapes she wanted and waiting in-between coats. All painted with (intelligent matt on walls and ceiling and intelligent eggshell on woodwork): ceiling & woodwork - ‘loft white 222’, walls: ‘cordoba 277, Citrine 71, Adventures 7, Blush 267, Ashes of Rose 6, Basson 336, Boxington 84, Sunlight 135.

Quick refresh of a rental property. As with all work done for landlords, it’s never perfect, but this is probably the first one that I’m posting cause at least the landlord wanted for the place to look nice and was willing to spend a bit more money. I understand that landlords don’t want to spend too much on painting, but it still can be done on a budget, using slightly more expensive paint and this will guarantee longer lasting results. In this case, I’ve used ‘obliterate Matt’ on ceilings and all walls, except feature walls. Feature walls were painted using standard vinyl Matt. Bathroom painted with Acrylic Durable Matt. Woodwork all painted with quickdry satinwood.

Colours used were:
- ‘Chick Shadow’ (light grey walls)
- ‘Urban Obsession’ (feature walls)
- Brilliant white (ceilings, bathrooms and woodwork)

Walls and ceiling stripped off the old wallpaper and skimmed with roll nova, primed with gardz.
Ceiling finished with ‘white’ (obliterate Matt).
Walls painted with (Joa’s White).
Woodwork - ‘white’ (scuff-x eggshell).
Steps - ‘white’ (satin).

Living room painters for the client. Walls were an absolute disaster, so everything had to be filled and sanded. All of that done with ‘Roll Nova’ and then gently sanded with my Planex. Everything was then primed and ceiling painted with ‘chalk white’ (mixed into ‘Ultra Matt’), walls painted with ‘Beige 03’ (Vinyl Matt), woodwork finished with ‘brilliant white’ (satinwood).
