一年一度龍舟比賽又來臨

22/06/24 (六）參加曼徹斯特端午節龍舟比賽

地點：Sale Water Park
9.00am-4.30pm

Thk together 想組織一隊team參加比賽💪🏻
每人 20 英鎊報名費，餘下費用thk together 會贊肋
我們需要 16 名槳手和 1 名鼓手組成的團隊。

群益行贈送金鳳米和提供茶俾大家品嚐。

屆時將有舞獅、臉部彩繪、中國工藝品和米包。

Come join in at Manchester Dragon Boat Festival Saturday 22/06/24.
Sale Water Park!
9.00-4.30pm

We are looking for paddlers to take part and try and win! 💪🏻
It is £20 per person.
We will put people into teams of 16 paddlers and 1 drummer.

Kwan Yick will be there and will be giving away packets of
Hong Thong Rice and tea for people to sample.

There will be a lion dance, face painting, Chinese craft and rice parcels.

They are committed to keeping Stamford Park safe, clean and family friendly for all to enjoy.
Follow their progress and endeavours to our lovely community park and volunteer in their monthly clean ups and garden tidying activities. Adults and children welcome 🤗

Councillor Jane Leicester has been using our new bike stands. She said “It’s been fantastic using the new bike stands in Stamford Park. Thank you to Bee Network for the funding and One Trafford for building the base. It’s been a pleasure to be involved in helping to make Stamford Park more accessible”. Friends of Stamford Park would like to thank Councillors Leicester and Sutton for all their support with this project.

We have entered the dragon boat festival season and what better way to celebrate it and fundraise for your charity then to get a team together and battle to be crowned the winner at Sale Water Park!

No experience needed!
Laughter, competitiveness and fundraising team spirit needed.

Teams of upto 16 paddlers ( 16+) and drummer (12+) fee £550 set up a just giving.com page for charity and you’re in the race.

Each team races 3 x 200m and the 6 fastest team times will go into the ultra final!
