This tired old tarmac driveway in Royton was in desperate need of a makeover, and we’re delighted with how the finished result turned out.

Our team carried out a full excavation, installed a brand-new permeable sub-base, and finished the project with a stunning resin bound surface built to last.

For the design, our customer chose:

🪨 Matterhorn for the border
✨ Hudson Bay for the main colour

The combination works perfectly together, creating a clean, modern finish that completely transforms the front of the property and massively improves its kerb appeal.

🏫 Before ➡️ After | Another fantastic transformation complete 🏫

We’re proud to share the completion of our THIRD project for Tameside Council 👏

This time, the team were at Greenside Children’s Hub, where the existing outdoor play area was in desperate need of attention. The original red tarmac surface had been in place for nearly 20 years and had well and truly reached the end of its life.

So… in came Aurora Resin 💪

The old surface was replaced with a brand new red EPDM rubber play surface, creating a space that is not only bright, modern and visually appealing, but most importantly safe, durable and perfectly suited for children to enjoy for many years to come ❤️

What an incredible few weeks it’s been for the team at Aurora Resin… once the sun finally decided to show its face, we haven’t stopped 👀

🏫 Project Flowery Fields – Complete Transformation 🏫

We’re proud to showcase our second school project completed for Tameside Council — and what a transformation this one was 👀

“Project Flowery Fields” was in serious need of attention. The existing rubber surface had been cut up, patched, worn out and neglected for so long that moss had begun to take over, leaving it both unsightly and unsafe.

That’s where Aurora Resin stepped in 💪

🔨 Full system rebuild:
✔️ Complete excavation of the existing surface
✔️ Installation of a new permeable MOT Type 3 sub-base
✔️ New SBR rubber base layer
✔️ Finished with a stunning BLUE EPDM top layer supplied by Vuba Resin
