Another stunning transformation complete — and this one is for a returning Aurora customer 👌

Many years ago, our customer opted for an Indian sandstone patio. But naturally, styles change, preferences change, and after seeing the resin bound driveway we previously installed for him, there was only one thing for it…

“Can we have the patio done to match?”

Absolutely. 😎

And just like that, Indian sandstone to a brand-new resin bound patio in a matter of days:

🔨 Day 1 – Lift the existing flags & excavate the old base
🚧 Day 2 – Install the new MOT sub-base followed by a VubaMac base
✨ Day 3 – Resin bound top coat installed

BOOM. Done. 💥

A completely refreshed outdoor space with a clean, seamless resin finish that ties in beautifully with the driveway we previously completed.

✨ Simple. Fresh. Clean. ✨

Our latest transformation proves that sometimes less really is more.

Whilst the majority of the work we carry out is resin bound surfacing, this project was a little different...

Our customer initially contacted us to install a new retaining wall and a beautiful porcelain patio, giving their back garden a fresh, modern look.

As is often the case, once our customers see how we work and the quality of our craftsmanship... the ideas keep coming! 😄

We're delighted to say we'll soon be returning to complete the next phase of the project, installing a resin bound pathway around the property, leading seamlessly into a brand-new resin bound driveway.

We're already incredibly pleased with how this project is taking shape, but we genuinely can't wait to show you the finished result. We think it's going to be something special.

🔹 Groundworker / General Labourer

Experience:

✅ Experience preferred, but not essential
✅ A willingness to learn is absolutely essential. We’d much rather teach someone with the right attitude than hire someone with the wrong one.

This isn’t just another labouring job…

We’re looking to develop our next hire into our next Preparation Team Lead.

As your skills develop and you gain experience, you’ll be trusted to independently prepare our projects to the high standards Aurora Resin is known for, ensuring everything is ready for our specialist laying team to arrive and complete the resin installation.

If you’re ambitious and want to progress within the company, this is a genuine opportunity to do exactly that.

What you’ll be doing:

🏡 Domestic driveway & patio installations
🏫 Commercial surfacing projects
🚧 Groundworks, excavation, base preparation and resin/rubber surfacing installations

Approximately 75% of our work is local, with around 25% consisting of larger commercial projects.

Requirements:

📍 Our yard is based in Royton.
🚗 Own transport is non-negotiable. You must be able to either:
• Meet at our yard each morning, or
• Make your own way directly to site when required.

💷 Pay: To be discussed and will be based on experience, attitude and ability.

This tired old tarmac driveway in Royton was in desperate need of a makeover, and we’re delighted with how the finished result turned out.

Our team carried out a full excavation, installed a brand-new permeable sub-base, and finished the project with a stunning resin bound surface built to last.

For the design, our customer chose:

🪨 Matterhorn for the border
✨ Hudson Bay for the main colour

The combination works perfectly together, creating a clean, modern finish that completely transforms the front of the property and massively improves its kerb appeal.

🏫 Before ➡️ After | Another fantastic transformation complete 🏫

We’re proud to share the completion of our THIRD project for Tameside Council 👏

This time, the team were at Greenside Children’s Hub, where the existing outdoor play area was in desperate need of attention. The original red tarmac surface had been in place for nearly 20 years and had well and truly reached the end of its life.

So… in came Aurora Resin 💪

The old surface was replaced with a brand new red EPDM rubber play surface, creating a space that is not only bright, modern and visually appealing, but most importantly safe, durable and perfectly suited for children to enjoy for many years to come ❤️
