Made in Manchester Models was started in 2016 to meet the demand for realistic scale industrial scenery by producing high quality ready made authentic models in 1:50, 1:76 & 1:43 scale using fully recyclable materials all sourced (where possible) and assembled in sunny Manchester. Our current range of high quality bespoke fuel storage tanks are ideal for the model railway enthusiast as well as die-cast and military modellers to name a few.

Hello all, after an enforced absence from Facybook due to log in problems and not being bothered to sort it as life is too short and all that... I realised that I need to get the new industrial pipework out into the O gauge world. The pipework is available in both 5 & 8mm diameter with a wide choice of fittings and accessories to enable your good selves to build an industrial small or large diorama quickly, you are only limited by your imagination as to what you can build. The fittings are suitable for fuel, gas & chemical scenes. Please head to the Ellis Clark Trains website or visit Ellis's shop to see the current range of parts and kits available. Hi all, Just back from the excellent Guild O Gauge exhibition in Kettering, I would just like to say a big thank you to all the Guild staff and members who helped make it all happen, I would also like to say a big thank you to all of my customers old & new for their custom.
I took along eight of the new Fuel maintenance hut;s which were a great success and sold out. This new model will also soon be available from the lovely peeps at Ellis's place. https://www.ellisclarktrains.co.uk/ I am also planing on adding a petrol pump to fuel the new ECT range of Wickham's.

Hello all, to coincide with the start of the O Gauge exhibition season I am pleased to announce another new release from the Made in Manchester range, this new fueling shed is designed around the BR Blue diesel era through to the nineties. The base width is narrower than my existing fuel points at 55mm to allow to fit in between trackwork. This model will be available for sale at the Gauge O Guild Kettering exhibition on Saturday, 4th March 2023 & also at the excellent MIOG exhibition in Crewe on the 25th & 26th March 2023. Hello again all, thank you to all of our friends and customers old & new who came to see me at the excellent Manchester MMRS Christmas exhibition.
I would also like to pass on my thanks to all the MMRS exhibition team who worked hard over the weekend to make the show a great success. I was also very pleased and amazed to see the excellent tank farm ‘Manchester Fuel’ built by Alan Kay with assistance from other members of the MMRS.
This superb award winning tank farm which is still a work in progress contains six 4mm scale tanks from Made in Manchester Models including the new silo. Please take a look also at the brilliant scratch built pipe detail and fuel loading arms of the tank farm. The larger middle tanks I believe are Walthers kits. Thanks again to Alan and the team at MMRS.

Hi all, with just over 2 days to go before the Manchester Christmas Model Railway Show I have been crazy busy preparing the new 2023 range of 00 gauge models which will all be available for purchase from 10am on Saturday. The new 2023 range includes smaller diameter 00 gauge storage tanks for those customers struggling for space on their layout. Also please come & say hello and also see our fantastic Christmas light display which will be available for sale from 4pm on Sunday as the batteries like us will be exhausted.

Due to popular demand Made in Manchester Models have decided to go back to our 00 Gauge roots and bring out a new range of 4mm models to hopefully satisfy the demand from our 00 Gauge customers. The first range of models is our new Silo model which will make their debut at the Manchester Christmas Model Railway Show on the 10th & 11th of December (www.mmrs.co.uk/exhibition) These 00 Silo models have a very small 65mm footprint and are available in 225 & 300mm heights.
All the models are metal construction and will come ready weathered with expected RRP from £89.00 to £119.00. The Silo's will also be available from February 2023 in O Gauge. Please come and say hello to us at the MMRS exhibition in sunny Manchester.
