This was a GRP flat roof we installed, adjoining it on to a GRP roof we had previously done on the neighbouring property, creating one complete GRP roof system. We 1st installed all preformed trims to the perimeter, around the box sections and roof lantern and keyed into the existing neighbouring roof to allow the new system to be joined onto it. We then fitted 2 lead welded outlet points to the inlayed gullys before installing the 1st layer fibre glass system, lightly sanding once hard cured. We then installed the 1st of 2 topcoats to the entire area and box sections. Lead flashings were the fitted to the rear wall section before a 2nd layer of topcoat was applied to complete the system.

This was a Russell Cambrian 'reconstituted slate' roof with 6 Velux windows installed. The lower, shallower pitch was a add on extension to the existing building. We first had to break into the existing building at eave level to install the timber joists for the new roof, which also meant re-aligning the existing valley into a dog leg shape to accommodate the new pitch going through the rear outrigger roof. We then installed 4 new Velux windows to the existing pitch an 2 to the new extension before felting, battening and tiling the new roof and installing lead apron at intersection of new and existing roof pitches.

This was a sloping GRP roof with a roof lantern. The design of this was a bit awkward and we had to create our own sloping angles to the rear and right hand side, before we fitted our preformed trims to the perimeter and around the roof lantern (pics 1-5). We then bandaged all trim joints and corners before installing our 1st layer GRP using activated liquid resin and fibre glass sheet roll matting (pics 6 and 7). Activated liquid topcoat was then applied the same day and the lead flashing to wall and a further topcoat added a few days later to finish off the system (pics 8-10). 2 topcoat layers should always be applied when installing a GRP system. Your installer should then feel confident enough, as we do, to guarantee the install of this roof for 25yrs.

This was a tile reroof we undertook in Manchester, removing the old rosemary tiled roof, installing breathable membrane roofing felt and tile battens. We then fitted new white soffit and fascia along with black guttering and downpipe to the property. New Ludlow Major tiles (old English in colour) were then laid in place onto the roof and new code 4 lead installed to the chimney stack. Finally we installed the new dry ridge system to both hips and the roofs apex and mechanically fixed in place.

This was a small flat roof GRP we installed on a kitchen extension with a front inlayed gully. We fitted all preformed trims to the perimeter and soon to be installed roof lantern and a lead welded outlet point and baseplate into the gully section. We then bandaged all joints and corners, waited for it to hard cure before fibre glassing the entire gully and flat roof area. 2 topcoats were then applied and the lead flashing to the wall section at the rear of this roof.

3 layer GRP fibre glass system in Stockport. 18mm OSB boarding was installed with inlayed gully section to front perimeter and a lead welded internal outlet point fitted through the gully. We then fitted all preformed trims to outer perimeter and around roof lantern before bandaging joints and corners. The 1st layer was then installed, comprising activated liquid resin and sheet roll fibre glass matting. Once cured we then coated the whole roof and trims in activated liquid topcoat, calling back to fit lead flashings to rear wall and giving the whole area a further layer of activated topcoat.

This was a with renewal to front and rear and . The property also had a front conical slate roof (5 sided) and a rear outrigger. We 1st removed the existing and installed a new breathable felt membrane along with new slate battens. The slate roof was then reinstated, totally re-cutting the slates at all valley sections and on the 5 joints of the front conical roof before we re-bedded the system on a mortar bed and pointed to a smooth finish

This was a gully, and triple installation project. 1st we had to form a grp gully this was done as one complete unit due to the gully sitting against a neighbouring property wall and the problems that could be caused with sitting snow getting under the usual flashing we would install. Instead we used a grp preformed flashing trim into the wall, overlapping the wall fillet trim and then fibre glassed the joint to completely watertight this section. We then fitted a lead welded outlet point at the gully end, angle formed this end to remove as much excess water as possible before completing the 3 layer grp
part of this project. We then sat the velux in position in the roof, fitted the new felt and battens before installing the new slate along with all lead to side and top of the slate .
