As we break ground on our 20th project for the year, we’ve taken a gulp at how quickly it has flown by! The leaves are changing colour once again, the teams are hard at it in the September rain, and we’re working on some exceptionally exciting projects and concepts for 2026.

This driveway design and build was a fantastic project completed at the start of spring with the sealing of the limestone. The front of the home has been completely transformed into an exciting world of texture and colour, with the limestone cobbles showing off their beautifully muted tones. A wonderful before and after for this gorgeous family home and incredible clients

Just like gardens, driveways can come in all shapes and sizes. Semi detached and terrace houses can often pose a challenge when a clients brief is a new driveway for a large family vehicle…but we love a challenge. This design was simple but really effective, we moved the original stone pillars to frame the new entrance, rebuilt the original front brick wall as the new boundary wall, incorporated the limestone setts used in the garden design for the front pathway and rumble, and squeezed in as much greenery as possible by allowing space for a euonymus hedge around the bay window with hydrangea silver dollar either side.

A beautifully warm Spring evening makes the summer feel so close now! The ground is exceptionally dry this Spring, we’re seeing cracking in lawns and borders are needing lots of additional watering. Remember to love your garden, but don’t panic and overwater - most species are remarkably resilient.

Glimpses of the February sunshine is making us excited for getting use of the outdoor furniture again 💚
Outdoor furniture is often a difficult decision to make as there is an abundance of badly made stuff out there, and choosing something that’s going to look good and last, can feel overwhelming. Remember this is furniture that needs to sit outside all year round, you want to choose once and choose well! We love the Palissade range from Hay Furniture and often use it in our schemes - the galvanised and powder coated steel will withstand anything!
