🔧 Progress Update – Second Fix Plumbing at Oaklands Care Home 🔧

We’re pleased to report that the second fix plumbing and sanitary installations are progressing efficiently at Oaklands Care Home. This phase includes:

Final connection of hot and cold water services
Installation of sanitary ware including WCs, basins, and thermostatic showers
Testing and commissioning of pipework and drainage systems
Integration with mechanical ventilation and heating systems
Our team is ensuring all installations meet HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) standards and are fully compliant with building regulations and care sector specifications.

This milestone brings us closer to delivering a high-quality, future-ready care environment with robust, hygienic, and efficient plumbing infrastructure.

That's why we have regular visits from our director, team nights out, team building exercises, social WhatsApp groups, and the DRS football team. You may recall our introduction for our newest apprentice, Malachy Handrick. Malachy has just completed his T-Levels in Plumbing and is embarking on his Level 2 Plumbing Apprenticeship this September. Keen to start, he joined the team last week and has already hit the ground running with his first pipe installation, mentored by a seasoned member of our team.

It's inspiring to see the team come together to develop the next generation of engineers. It's also fantastic to witness our experienced engineers dedicating their time to mentoring and, in the process, developing their own leadership skills in preparation for the next steps in their careers. 🚀
