All summer your boiler has been sitting idle, no heating, just ticking over. Then September hits, the temperature drops overnight, and suddenly it's working harder than it has in months.

We started TruPlumb because we believed there was a better way to do this. Turn up when you say you will, explain what's wrong in plain English, charge a fair price and give the advice that's right for the customer, not the advice that's right for the invoice.

It sounds simple and it is. It's just not always what you get. We think you deserve better than that. That's why we love doing what we do!

Honest answer? It depends on your home, your budget and what matters most to you. But these are the three brands we work with the most, and we wouldn't fit anything we wouldn't put in our own houses.

Worcester Bosch and Vaillant are the ones most of our customers already know. Long-standing names with serious reputations for reliability. Ideal is our personal pick. British-made, brilliant warranties for accredited installers like us, and after-sales support from the manufacturer that we've not seen matched anywhere else.

If you're anything like us, this summer has been something else. We've had two proper heatwaves, nights that just wouldn't cool down, and fans doing absolutely nothing except move the hot air from one side of the room to the other.

We're from Wythenshawe, not Dubai. We're not built for this. 😅

But here's the thing. The heat isn't going away. Last summer broke records and this one is breaking them again. At some point you stop calling it a heatwave and start calling it summer.

That's why we've added air conditioning installation to what we offer. We've had a good look at what's out there, we're confident in what we're recommending, and as always we'll only tell you what you actually need.
