A quick post to say that my last working day will be on Monday 22nd Dec. I'm still available until the 22nd to do any quotes. I'll be having 2 weeks off enjoying some much needed rest and i won't be getting back to any messages and calls until Monday 5th Jan. Dates are filling up fast with very limit days left for January. A little edit from our time helping the DIY SOS team get the plastering done for the children in need special. Helping the great charity The Joshua Tree Charity. 2 days we pretty much had all the plastering done to keep the build on schedule. 12 days from start to finish on this project and if you missed tbe episode yesterday be sure to catch up on the BBC iplayer.

As always it was great to help the team! A sneak preview of tonight's episode that's on bbc 1 tonight at 9pm. The task was to help build a bigger accommodation for the charity that helps support families with kids with cancer. 11 days to build with 2 days allocated for getting the plasterboarding and plastering done. A great team effort by everyone involved! I'll share more after the episode has been shown.

It was so nice to receive a card from a family and some gifts as a thank you and it really does mean alot!

Over time I've plastererd the whole house doing areas at a time and the transformation was amazing. Not only did i do the plastering I also gave them advice for what to do with with other trades and areas as to me that's part of the service. Every job I take on I treat it as if it's my own house so only 100% is standard! (Some of you might know that as I'm still working away gone 7pm to make sure its done to the top standard 😆)

Thought i better share some jobs as lately all I've posted is my DIY SOS involvement. 😆 Busy week last week! Started the week getting this lounge & dining room plastererd in Hillfields then ended the week getting a bedroom looking fresh and new in Winterbourne. It was nice to get a rare day off today but back at it tomorrow with a very busy few weeks ahead getting a whole house and a few smaller jobs done. I got some limited days left this side of Christmas from early December but booking well into next year. Be sure to give as much notice as possible as I don't like turning jobs down.

Well if you watched last nights episode you'll see why we do our part helping families just like Rafi and his family. Every build I've done i don't think I've ever come across a team like the one on this build. It meant everything to everyone involved and the standard of work was as top as it got! The lads made it clear that the beginning speech from the family had stuck with them and they are doing nothing but the best for them and to get Rafi home. Everyone was so touched by Dean's dedication doing 10+ hours a day to help Rafi improve. Some photos and video's of us in action as unfortunately we were too fast for the cameras to catch us 😆 Also a big credit to the team behind the scenes who plan these builds months in advance making sure everything runs well. You can't forget the catering teams and local community who keep us fed well. Also the last photo is of me and chris talking about the build and not his nice holiday home. 😆🤓 if you missed it then it'll be on BBC 1 again today (Saturday) at 3pm or catch it on the I player.
