Trainee Prepper / Masker – UPVC & Kitchen Spraying
We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Trainee Prepper / Masker to join our growing spraying company specialising in UPVC and kitchen resprays.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn a skilled trade within a professional spraying environment. Full training will be provided for the right candidate. Ideal role for young school leaver looking to get into a trade.
Hours
Hours will be flexible and on a when needed basis (Monday - Friday, some Saturdays if required). Our company is currently in a scaling process and getting busier by the week. For the right candidate this will turn into a full time position.
Role Responsibilities
* Cleaning and degreasing surfaces ready for spraying
* Sanding and surface preparation
* Masking kitchens, windows, doors and surrounding areas
* Assisting sprayers on-site
* Working safely from ladders and heights when required
* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
* Ensuring all prep work is completed to a high standard before coatings are applied

* Good punctuality and time keeping
* Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Professional and polite with customers
* Willingness to learn and take pride in your work
* Comfortable working with hands and using sanding/preparation equipment
* Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
Experience in decorating, spraying, prep work or masking is beneficial but not required, as full training will be given.
