With most of our engineering team travelling back home to the white cliffs of Dover 🇬🇧 after a series of expansion loops have been installed to an existing gas network; along with the addition of AECVs, leak detection, and repipes. All that remains on our Graben project in Munich 🇩🇪 is commissioning of 1MW worth of AHUs & handover which will take place early next week.

It was good to support AET (Aalborg Energie Technik) 🇩🇰 with a pre-shutdown engineer’s survey at Rothes CoRDe power station in the Scottish highlands this week.

Next month a team of our engineers will return to 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 to conduct PPM and compliance tasks to a high pressure gas network and an 11MW M&S auxiliary burner.

RC is an impressively engineered bio-mass energy plant which uses wet draff from local whiskey distilleries and wood chip to generate 7.2MWe. (An equivalent to supplying 9000 homes with electricity). Whilst the CHP also produces 12t/h of process steam.

This is another great site to be invited to and another great engineering team to collaborate with.

A great signing for the safeguard team this week as we welcome Chris Smith to the team (formerly Smith’s Plumbing & heating).

Another great kid from a local school has spent some time on work experience with our engineers this week.

Kaden slotted straight in with the guys and had a reportedly great time on a couple of our work sites. A few years back we had his older brother with us for work experience and both young men are an equal credit to their family.

We wish Kaden all the best with his final year in school.. and of course the coffers maybe a few quid lighter for the effort. (Allegedly)
