Painting and Decorating contrator I am a painting and decorating contractor based in Benwick, Cambridgeshire.

I am a highly motivated friendly individual who strives to improve the quality of work in the market place. I have also been previously security cleared by the Home Office. As a small company every project still has a personal touch while retaining the ability to fulfill contracts in fast turn around times. By embracing new techniques and equipment we are able to offer many services other local

decorators cannot.

Another exterior completed. Large Bungalow with fancy facias and sofits. Usual issues of flaky paint and bad previous painting. Dulux uni-primer used on bare wood after sanding and scraping . Followed by two-three coats of AllCoat Satin white (Self priming,undercoat and finish system)

Quick frontage on the hotest day of the year (Apparently). Started early am before the heat set in. From a mouldy ,cracked render to a fresh DT sandstone finish.

Another one off the list. Repeat customer for a quick freshen up and minor repairs ready to go on the market next year. Render finished in DT Magnolia; woodwork saddling in Mahogany and garage doors in Zinsser Allcoat in woodland bronze.

When your paint supplier fails to deliver on time so you have to halt an exterior. Go to plan B the “rainy “ day job!🤣

Freshen up at the Local. Finished in Dulux magnolia masonry, DT Black masonry and zinsser all coat satin.

Watcha folks. Been a bit, so what have I been up to. Big exterior in Hemingford Abbots. Did this place 9 years ago so fewer repairs this time but plenty of tired old paint to deal with. Been a long one as initially the weather was a tad wet then two heatwaves! All part of the fun of exterior decorating. Walls are finished in brilliant white DT masonry; woodwork Zinsser AllCoat in satin black ( self priming, undercoat and finish 2 coat system water based), Black Dt masonry on skirt. A slightly more modern feel to an older house.

Bloody awful weather at the moment. Exteriors have stalled for a while, getting out when I can. The weather does mean I get to pluck another string of the Paint Layers bow. Prep and hand painting some kitchen doors. Need a little work as we’re water damaged in areas , but a good sand and some resin filled they’ll be like new when they’re done.

So been a while since I posted anything. So what have I been up to, well the last 8 weeks or so have been taken up with redecorating a large house. The customer requested that I didn’t post any pictures ( customer preference) so imagine rooms painted blue, green , Bluey green, white, teal and grey. Here’s a picture of a funny dog for those who are image stimulated!

Couple of weeks on this kitchen and toilet. Blending in some old and new to make a consistent feel. Ceiling in AF 1 ceiling paint, walls in kitchen F&B Wimborne white and Ammonite white eggshell on woodwork. The toilet was colour drenched in F&B Beverly with woodwork in Ammonite white. Had some help on this one by the owners labs .
