Full bathroom refit completed in Sawtry just before bank holiday,

Removed all of existing suite and tiles,
Added some stud work to accommodate the new shower, more stud work for the wall hung WC, adjusted pipework for the wall hung basin and unit, used waterproof boarding prior to tiling, installed the 900x 300 tiles, new cable for electric mirror, supplied and fitted new extractor fan and fitted LVT click system on the floor.

Client supplied all the materials for this job, not something I’d usually do but with the right agreements in place I was happy to take the job on.

At the start of job there was a couple of issues with the materials but have to commend the customer who solved the problems really quickly and didn’t hold the schedule up

👍

Unfortunately a 3-2 loss this morning,
Only our 2nd game of the calendar year due to the weather so we seem to have lost all our momentum we’d built before Christmas.

Disappointing 1st half going 1-0 down but after a halftime team talk we played much better in 2nd half. Still went another goal down early on but then a goal from Roman, assisted by Dylan, gave our boys a boost. Another goal scored by Dylan straight from a corner pulled it back to 2-2.
Genuinely thought we could’ve gone on to win the game in the 2nd half and had some really good chances but March then scored a 3rd which just put it out of reach for us.

Hopefully now the worst of the weather is behind us and we can get back to how we were before the big break in games.

MotM went to Musty who gave 100% from the start and didn’t let up the whole game,

Quarter Final of the Cup next week which we are more than confident we can get very far in, if not win it 🤞

Just a friendly this morning,
Felt good to be back out tho after such a long break,

Had a bit of a woeful 1st 10 minutes going 2-0 down, pulled it back to 2-2 by HT though. Went 3-2 up early on in 2nd half and was playing some of our best football.
Unfortunately we let concentration slip and conceded 2 late goals to bring final result to a 4-3 loss.
We did play a team in a division higher than us tbf so all round was happy with how the boys played the whole game,

Back to league action next week for our final few games of the season and to prepare for the cup games,

A brilliant 2-1 win yesterday away at Somersham,

Boys knew this would be a tough game after our previous fixtures against this team.
Started off a bit slow but soon settled into the match.

After Freddie went on a little run and earned us a FK on the edge of the box, Dylan stepped up to take it and put a dangerous ball into the box, Roman first to react and deflected the ball into goal to put us 1-0 ahead.
Game changed a little bit in 2nd half when a Somersham player hit a sweet strike from outside the box that dipped above our keeper Charlie H’s head to make it 1-1.
We kept battling though and had a couple more chances but our final goal was a through ball down the centre of the pitch which Roman ran onto and calmly slotted the ball away to make it 2-1.

All of our boys are really showing a great team spirit now season’s in full swing which bodes well for our run in to the end of our season.

MotM went to Charlie M. Was played on the RW for most of the game with a few clear instructions which he executed really well. Definitely his best game since start of the season

Nice little 4-1 win this morning away to Hemingford,

We were unsure after all the rain we’v had whether the game was going to go ahead but when we got there it was classic football weather, bit wet, not too muddy.

Both teams started well and Hemingford had a few decent chances but our 1st attack led to a goal slotted home by Tobes.
Roman then followed up with 2 goals and a late on goal from Ethan sealed the 4-1 win for us.

Nice to get a game in after a lot of games cancelled, due to weather, and having to postpone our game last week.

Last game of the calendar year for us away to Somersham next week. Hoping to end the year on a high 🙌⚽️

Finally finished this 95m2 limestone floor 🙌🙌
Main hall area, kitchen, dining area, downstairs WC, entrance area, utility and office floor,

Covered whole floor prior to kitchen units, utility units and stairs being installed.

Tile size - 700-800-900-1000 x 600 x 20mm
Decoupling matt went down first over the underfloor heating.
All sealed prior to, and post grouting. Finished with a Jasmine grout (customer’s choice as always 😜).

Certainly learned some lessons from my first big limestone floor,
Definitely want to be doing more of these challenging jobs,

All materials (except tiles) supplied and installed on this one 🫡
❤️

Unfortunately a 2-0 loss this morning for our U14 Netherton Whites.

We were up against the team top of our league and who have won every game so far this season.
We knew it was going to be a tough game, made tougher by the cold and rain, but we still went out and gave a convincing performance.
A 2-0 loss against that team was not bad in the end.

Our ⚽️ went to Musty who always gives 100% and more and today was no different. Week on week he comes up against opponents twice his size and his tenacity always sees him through.
Well done Musty 🙌🙌🙌
