Lucky escape for one of our customers today.
Went round to install a gas cooker and found a badly soldered fitting leaking gas behind where the cooker was to be installed.
Had they chosen to install the cooker hose themselves and not asked me, they might never have found out about the leak. As we all know the consequences of that could have been terrible.
Always get your Gas appliances installed by an approved Gas Safe engineer, give yourself that peace of mind.
