Got a bit wet on this one 😱💦

After a neighbour noticed water running from the alleyway and down the driveway, the customer called while away on business — not ideal!

Because it was a shared supply, we couldn’t isolate the water, so the only option was a live outside tap replacement 🔧

Safe to say it turned into more of a shower than expected… but the new tap was fitted successfully and the leak stopped ✅

All part of the job — dried off in the van afterwards 😅

⚠️ Another dangerous boiler fault found on a Worcester today by Wolf Plumbing and Heating 🐺🔥

The burner seal had failed and become crusty, with clear signs of combustion gas spillage — a serious safety issue that can’t be ignored.

We replaced the faulty burner seal and carried out full safety checks to make sure the appliance was operating correctly and safely again, keeping the customer protected and warm.

Boiler safety is just as important as performance. If your boiler hasn’t been checked recently, it’s always worth getting it looked at 👨‍🔧

Hot water issue sorted today by Wolf Plumbing and Heating 🐺🔥

Customer had no hot water due to a faulty 2-port valve head on the hot water circuit. We replaced the actuator and restored proper operation quickly and safely.

If your hot water has stopped working or is only coming on intermittently, a zone valve fault could be the cause.

Another tidy job completed by Wolf Plumbing and Heating 🐺🔧

Customer was having issues with their kitchen waste pipe setup and external drainage connection. We removed the old pipework and installed a new, secure waste system inside and out — improving flow and preventing future leaks.

Never come across this before 😳😱

After-hours emergency call-out last night 🚨

Customer had no heating or hot water, so attended to diagnose the issue. After stripping the boiler down, I found the fan had completely seized. Once removed, it turned out the turbine had self-destructed internally, with large shards of plastic lodged inside the fan housing — definitely not repairable!

New fan required to get this one safely back up and running 🔧🔥

Bonus points if anyone can guess the brand of boiler this came out of… 😆

Another tidy job completed ✅

Ran a new cold water supply for both a washing machine and dishwasher to their new location, and cored a new waste outlet through the wall into the gully in the alleyway for proper drainage.

Everything installed neatly, tested, and working as it should 👍

🚨 Emergency Gas Leak – Full Upgrade Completed 🔧🔥

Got called out late on Mother’s Day to a suspected gas leak — on arrival, it didn’t take long to find the issue… the old iron gas supply had completely rotted through ❌

System was made safe straight away, and we returned the next day to carry out a proper fix — not a patch job.

🔧 Work carried out:
✅ Removed all unsafe, corroded iron pipework
✅ Installed new 28mm copper gas supply
✅ Re-ran pipework from meter to gas fire, combi boiler & hob
✅ Fully tested, purged, and certified safe

Clean, solid install and most importantly — safe for the customer and their home ✅

Here’s a recent emergency call out we attended late evening on Mother’s Day!
Customer was worried as there was a smell of gas in the kitchen. After investigation we found the old iron supply pipe had rotted and was leaking gas under the kitchen units 😳😱 We safely isolated the gas supply and returned to install a new gas run for the property
