Progress update from our Ramsgate Road renovation! 

This one needed a complete reset before we could start bringing the vision to life. We’ve stripped the property right back, removing ceilings, walls, and everything in between to create the perfect foundation for the transformation ahead.

The demolition phase is well underway, and over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing every stage of the journey as this project starts to take shape.

DAY ONE | FITZMARY AVENUE

Our second new project start for SJC this week and this one is going to be a serious transformation.

This property is currently a tired three-bedroom house that has been left in extremely poor condition, but over the coming months we’ll be completely reimagining the entire home both internally and externally.

The project includes a full back-to-brick renovation, complete reconfiguration of the internal layout, a hip-to-gable loft conversion creating a large master suite with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe, as well as a substantial rear extension designed around modern open-plan living.

The new extension will create a huge kitchen, dining and family space with large glazing and direct connection into the garden to achieve that seamless inside-outside living environment and high-end contemporary feel throughout the home.

Externally, the property will also undergo a complete transformation with new render finishes, replacement windows and doors, and a full landscaping package to completely modernise the appearance of the property.

There’s a huge amount of work ahead on this one, but projects like this are exactly why we love what we do.

DAY ONE — RAMSGATE ROAD

After nearly ten months of planning, surveys, design development and preparation behind the scenes, today we officially begin this full SEN home transformation at Ramsgate Road.

Over the coming months this property will undergo a complete internal and external redevelopment carefully designed around the needs of the family and their son to create a safer and more practical long-term living environment.

The works include extensive internal remodelling, dedicated sensory and quiet spaces, accessible wet room facilities, level threshold detailing, safer circulation routes, specialist adaptations, fall prevention considerations and a full external redesign to create secure and usable outdoor spaces.

Every part of this project has been heavily considered from both a technical and practical day-to-day living perspective to ensure the home properly supports the family long into the future.
