So an unusual one today, I'm not posting pics of the ladder I just installed but instead pics of the one my install replaced, in way of a tribute to "the slingsby sliding stairway" removed today from a house in Mkt Harborough and was still working, it was originally installed circa 1930!!! The weight assisted counterbalance had stopped working but other than that it was fully operational after approximately 95 years!! What a great piece of engineering.
