🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨

Due to “new regulations” coming into effect this spring, all domestic fences will now need to be installed with a minimum 2cm gap at the bottom…

…to allow hedgehogs safe passage between gardens 🦔

We’re now offering our new “Hedgehog Compliant Fencing” service to make sure your garden stays fully up to code.

Don’t risk a fine — or an angry hedgehog inspector turning up unannounced.

Give us a message to get your fence checked today 😉

Wishing all our friends, Aquaintences and customers a happy new year.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on 2025 with gratitude. For some, it’s been a solid year; for others, it may have felt like a few posts weren’t quite straight and the wire took a bit more tension than expected. Wherever the year has left you, we hope 2026 brings firmer footing, stronger lines, and fewer repairs along the way.

From our side, we’re looking forward to the year ahead — taking on new rural fencing projects and continuing to look after our existing customers. We’re proud to help keep boundaries strong, stock safe, and fences standing the way they should.

We are currently very busy, so we’d like to thank everyone for their patience while we work through jobs properly and in order. Good fencing, like most things, is worth doing right rather than rushing.

Thank you for your continued support. Here’s to a straighter run and a better year ahead for everyone. We are always at the end of the phone for anyone that wants a chat, even if it’s not fencing related we don’t care.

Well That’s us all wrapped for us here at Front Row Fencing! Time to start the Christmas shopping now!

As we close the gate on another year, we’ve taken a minute to look back down the line — and it’s been a great one. Some cracking projects finished, others nearly over the line, and if we’re honest… the year definitely got better as it went on. Things felt sharper, smoother, and a lot more enjoyable as the year passed.

A huge thank you to all our customers. We’ve loved the variety, the challenges, and the trust you’ve put in us — it’s what keeps the job interesting (and occasionally entertaining). We value your custom.

Thanks to the team — Mark, William, Louise and Charlie.

A special mention to Mark. Quiet, unassuming, and just gets on with it — but he’s in the engine room. Methodical, organised and reliable, he sets the bar and somehow makes everyone around him better without making a fuss about it. When distractions cropped up elsewhere this year, Mark just cracked on — no drama, no moaning, just solutions. Exactly how we like it.

Big thanks to Louise, who keeps the whole show running behind the scenes. Admin, quotes, organisation — the stuff you don’t see and Charlie doesn’t want to do, but would definitely notice if it stopped. She’s the nails that hold the fence together.

Well done to Charlie — another trip to America and another first and third place finish. Proving once again that results come from skill, attitude and teamwork. Competing with new partners isn’t easier — it’s harder — which makes the results even sweeter. The friendships we’ve made with the incredible fencers across the pond and around the UK mean an awful lot to us.

Thanks as well to our suppliers for delivering the goods on time and to spec. Strong partnerships, no chasing — everyone’s happier that way.

We’ll leave you with a snapshot of the year: big cat fencing, predator fencing, and plenty of agricultural and residential work. We still don’t take enough photos, but here’s a handful from this year (and a couple that might be slightly older — don’t tell anyone).

Finishing the year focused, positive and all pulling in the same direction has made a massive difference. No friction, more progress — and a lot of laughs along the way, the erections just keep getting going. We’re heading into the new year in a very good place… and that suits us just fine, when everyone pulls the same way, the job gets a lot easier — and a lot more fun.

We’d like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a healthy, happy and prosperous 2026.

So we have a couple of vehicles coming up for sale if you are interested

TWO TOYOTA HILUXES FOR SALE – PICK YOUR PERSONALITY

💥 One is classy.
💥 One is stubborn.
💥 Both will outlive the human race.

If you need a truck (or two) that won’t cry, won’t quit, and won’t judge your life choices, then gather round.

Truck 1 - 2016 Toyota Hilux Invincible Mk8
💷 £16,000 + VAT (or swap for something that will make the neighbours talk)

Looking for a truck that says “I work hard” but also “I enjoy sitting on leather seats”?
This 2016 Hilux has 92k miles, full service history, and the kind of light work marks that say:
“I’ve done a day’s graft, not been dragged through a quarry.”

Plenty of extras

• Choice of wheels: factory alloys or BF Goodrich tyres on 16s
(Do you want to look respectable, or like you’re about to drive up a cliff? Your choice.)
• aftermarket , Air bag suspension, uprated to 7 tonnes gross vehicle weight.
(That’s right. Seven. Enough to carry tools, timber, and emotional baggage.)
• Truckman canopy + bed-rug liner
(It’s basically a mobile studio apartment.)
• Leather seats
(Smells like success and possibly livestock — depends how you treat it.)
• Chipped
(Goes like it has somewhere important to be, unlike you on a Monday.)

Perfect for builders, farmers, adventurers, or people who want strangers to nod approvingly at traffic lights.

📩 Message me before someone else steals your dream truck.

Truck 2
FOR SALE: 2008 Toyota Hilux Single Cab 2.5
💷 £5,000 + VAT (or sensible offer… or a stupid one for entertainment)

This truck has 152k miles, which in Hilux years is the equivalent of “just had breakfast.”
Condition: Honest wear, full of character and even though it’s 17 years old itwill still work harder than anyone born after 1999.

Features that shouldn’t be this exciting:

• Chipped
(Pulls like it’s being chased by a tax inspector.)
• bespoke Aluminium back
(Strong enough to survive a fencing contractor’s bad decisions.)
• Takes an 8-foot post in the bed
(That’s right. It’s basically a portable telegraph pole storage facility.)
• Alloy wheels
(Because even workhorses deserve a glow-up.)
• Excellent service history + MOT till March
(It’s had more check-ups than most humans.)

Ideal fencing truck, farm truck, yard truck, apocalypse truck, or first date vehicle if you want to set realistic expectations.

Messsage if you are interested.

Busy few weeks here at Front Row, so today we ended up trying to dodge the rain.

As always forgotten to take pictures of everything. But some new gates, some v mesh for a great customer, some horse netting on post and top rail, along with stock fencing all featuring on the list. We also received our first mince pie of the season on a job this week from a very kind customer.

Is it too early for mince pies?

Let’s hope today’s weather isn’t a taste of what’s to come this winter. Even if it is it hasn’t dampened spirits, and the team are staying upbeat, if not a little damp.

Hope everyone stays safe out there.

Charlie Wright of Market Rasen firm Front Row Fencing is well used to taking up challenges that take him out of the comfort zone but even he was a bit surprised by his latest ‘brief’. He took up the story: “I have done a number of fencing projects at the park with this latest job […]

Today we say farewell to Wayne after 11 years and 1 week with Front Row Fencing.
It’s been quite a journey — from fencing lions and tigers to knee deep in ditches and everything in between. Never a dull moment!

Over the years, Wayne’s seen and done a lot with us — several trips to America, some great projects, a few trophies, and plenty of laughs along the way. We’ve always tried to make sure it wasn’t just about work, but about the experiences and good times too.

It’s sad to see you go, Wayne — you’ve been a big part of the Front Row Family, and things won’t be quite the same without you. We hope you look back fondly on the good times because there were plenty! Shame we are only allowed ten pictures.

All the best for the next chapter of your book — don’t be a stranger!

Cowboy Construction From your fencing friends in the uk, we are honoured to be your friends and see what a fantastic job you do. Not many people with as much grit or determination as yourselves.

If you ever want to come over here for a break with your beautiful family, we would love to show you around. We all have the dark times but together we can shine.

If any of our followers want to see some amazing work and amazing people follow these guys.

This past few months I’ve been struggling to like my job. It’s been hard to find the motivation. It’just a season I know. I pulled out one of my business cards the other day and on the back is Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” A reminder that I need to renew in my mind often.

This job may not always be fulfilling and not every day will be easy but even in the frustrating moments, I can choose to dedicate my effort to God. When I give my best with the right heart, it becomes more than just a job, it becomes an act of service and worship. Something I have to trust the Spirit within me for because I definitely can’t do that on my own.

When you approach your work as something done unto the Lord, it changes it from being just a job into an act of faithfulness. Not something I’m good at but I know the power of walking by the spirit like we are called to do. So renew your mind because make no mistake, the battle is not flesh and blood, It’s a gut check for me when I want to throw in the towel and sell it all. So even when it’s hard, I’ll keep showing up, doing my job and trusting that God sees and values what others might not.

The blessing is I GET to provide, I GET to serve others with a solution, I GET to serve loving God and rejoice in that if I choose to.
