Job Title: Road Sweeper Driver
Location: Marks Tey/ Colchester
Job Type: Full-time
About the Role:
We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Road Sweeper Driver to work across active construction sites. You will be responsible for keeping site roads and surrounding areas clean, ensuring safe access for vehicles and workers, and supporting overall site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Operate mechanical road sweeping vehicles on construction sites
β’ Keep site roads, access routes, and surrounding areas clean and free of debris
β’ Control dust and maintain safe driving conditions on-site
β’ Carry out daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
Requirements
β’ Valid driving licence (appropriate category for sweeper vehicle)
β’ Previous experience operating plant or road sweepers preferred
β’ CSCS card
β’ Knowledge of construction site safety practices
β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
β’ Good communication and teamwork skills
