LATEST PROJECT: Private Residence Queens Park - Bespoke Kitchen

This beautiful, light filled bespoke kitchen features a blend of earthy tones and contemporary architectural elements. The space pairs deep olive brown green cabinets and natural stone shelving with full height, rich Nutbrown wood pantry cabinetry.

Highlights include a Belfast sink, Quooker hot water tap in Patinated Brass, natural stone worktops with matching upstands and burnished brass handles.

Large floor tiles run throughout the room, emphasising a spacious flow that leads into a relaxed dining area.

Bespoke home design can provide a great sense of personal creation and uniqueness, which all help to make a truly personalised space. No element is too big or too small to make a difference in bespoke home design. This is why attention to the finer details is so important.

Great lighting design is one of the most important elements in any interior. In addition to enhancing functionality, illumination can also transform mood, ambiance and the perception of space.

For optimum results, a project’s lighting plan should be implemented right at the beginning of the creative process.

The best lighting designs maximise the amount of natural daylight available, then enhance this with complementary forms of artificial light. Task, ambient, mood, feature and architectural lighting all have an important role to play.

Wall panelling can really make a difference, as this kind of attention to detail always matters, and especially in bespoke home design.

As well as adding detail to the walls, using one colour on the skirting, walls and furniture within a space can really make any detail stand out.

Celebrating the use of lines in furniture design is about embracing how direction, rhythm, and form shape a space. Clean horizontal lines can create a sense of calm and stability, while vertical lines add height and elegance. By thoughtfully combining these elements, as designers we can guide the eye, define function, and create visually balanced environments that feel both intentional and expressive.

In kitchen design, lines play an especially powerful role in both aesthetics and functionality. Long, uninterrupted countertop lines and handleless cabinetry emphasise simplicity and flow, often associated with modern and minimalist styles. Vertical lines in tall units or fluted cabinet fronts can draw the eye upward, enhancing the sense of space, while linear arrangements of tiles, such as subway or stacked layouts, create rhythm and cohesion. Even the alignment of appliances, lighting, and shelving contributes to a sense of order, making the kitchen feel efficient, harmonious, and visually refined.
