The ultimate in wax jacket restoration.

This iconic jacket was worn and owned by Johnny Giles, a legendary British motorcycle competitor and 13-time ISDT gold medallist.

Dating from the 1964 International Six Days Trial, this historically important jacket arrived with us heavily soiled and in need of specialist care. We carefully cleaned it inside and out, restored its appearance, reproofed the waxed cotton and helped preserve an irreplaceable piece of British motorcycling history.

Following restoration, the jacket was placed in the Triumph Museum.

When a wax jacket carries this much history and value, it needs more than a basic re-wax. It needs specialist knowledge, patience and respect for the original garment.
