This project involved the full installation and electrical setup of a bespoke media wall, designed to create a clean, modern focal point within the living space while incorporating practical storage and ambient lighting.
The media wall was constructed to house a wall-mounted TV above a recessed stove area, with carefully designed alcoves to the side for both decorative use and log storage. Each recess was fitted with integrated LED strip lighting, providing a warm ambient glow and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the installation.
From an electrical perspective, all wiring was planned and installed to ensure a seamless, clutter-free finish. This included:
Concealed power and data cabling for the TV
Installation of double sockets and media points within the upper recess for devices such as streaming boxes or routers
Dedicated power supplies for LED lighting within each alcove, controlled for ease of use
Additional socket outlets positioned neatly on adjacent walls to maintain accessibility without disrupting the design
All electrical work was carried out with a focus on safety, functionality, and a high-quality finish, ensuring compliance with current standards while keeping all services hidden from view.
The end result is a sleek, contemporary media wall that combines style with practicality, delivering both visual impact and everyday usability.
