The Painting Lady

I've been trying to put off making this announcement here for sometime, but I can't carry on in denial!
Very sadly, due to serious illness last year, and on going health issues, I am having to hang up my paint brushes and rollers and stop operating as The Painting Lady.
I have had the most wonderful seven years honing my skills and have met some lovely people on the way, many becoming good friends.
My heart is very heavy at the moment, but I have to face the reality that my body cannot do what it once thrived on.
I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to those who spurred me on in the early days and had absolute faith in my abilities. And to all my wonderful clients whom I have helped to realise their interior dreams, even if they did need a wee nudge sometimes to be a bit more adventurous!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Now it's time to re evaluate and steer a new course. Time to stoke the fire and wait patiently for the phoenix to re emerge! Jo💜🔥😉

Time to banish the brown in this north facing dining room and stairwell. A light, colour scheme combining Strong White, Ammonite and Purbeck Stone really brightened up the areas, resulting in thrilled clients!

A bold choice for this stunning bathroom, but what a wow factor! Wouldn't you just love a candle lit soak in here! Hague Blue on the walls, Ammonite on the ceiling and woodwork. Gorgeous!

It's amazing what a difference painting old dark stained woodwork can make not only in terms of the light in room, but also in the atmosphere of that room. Green Ground on the walls and James White on woodwork and ceilings. In a low ceiling, beamed room, painting the skirting the same colour as the walls can help make the ceiling seem higher too!

This impressive kitchen in a stunning barn conversion needed some new life breathing into it. The client didn't want the units to detract from the lovely open beamed effect, so suggested that the colour be limited to the base units, and the wall units painted the same as the walls. A stroke of genius! The base units look stunning in F&B Churlish Green and the top units and walls are James White. I love it when clients are brave in their colour choice. This scheme really works...very well done!
