Leak detection and repair was carried out to find a leaking 22mm cold feed. Property now ready for the insurance to carry out a drying out procedure before any remedial action can occur.

Access made after leak detection verified the leak was below the washing machine area.

Screed was removed along with two layers of insulation and a plastic membrane.

Another water supply pipe laid today.

25mm MDPE pipe trenched in to the front toilet floor void. Area was then back filled and is now ready for Severn Trent to come and connect on the pavement side.

Once connected a second visit will be required to disconnect the old supply at the rear of the property and to connect the new supply at the front.

Water supply replacement and a second supply run into the property, the second supply is for the shop while the first feeds the living accommodation.

To say the ground was tough is an over statement on this one.
But with a mini digger the job was completed within a day.

Kitchen hand washing sink hose had split within the commercial kitchen at Pepes peri peri.

First day back at work today after a two week break and started back with 25 meter water supply relay and lead pipe bypass (which I had to do live) because the external stop tap wouldn’t work (hence the water in the hole)

Annual Leave Notice ☀️🔧 🍺

I’m now on annual leave and won’t be back on the tools until 10th August.

If you need anything booking in for when I’m back, just drop me a message and I’ll get you in the diary. I’ll be checking notifications once a day. I’m also available by email [email protected]

As for availability… don’t worry, I’m still waiting for that huge boiler job I was promised back in 2021 after I gave someone a cheap deal on fixing their toilet because apparently I’d “get loads of work” if I looked after him.

So, if by some miracle he’s reading this… give me a call, mate.

I’m also keeping an eye out for all those other customer classics…

Due to a leak on the adjoining property the decision was made to cap off the supply. The water only fed an old redundant outside toilet.
After a pipe trace the pipe was excavated, cut and capped. Then tested at the meter before being back filled.

Monday Availability Update..

With England playing on Sunday, I’m expecting a few plumbers to be ruled out with a mysterious case of “can’t make it, boss.” ⚽🍻

So if your boiler’s been time-wasting, your toilet’s taking the p**s, or your pipes have sprung a leak in defence…

⚽ I’ll be ready for kick-off on Monday.
- No diving.
- No own goals.
- Just straight down the middle, putting in a solid shift.

Don’t leave your plumbing in extra time—book in before the fixture list gets full!

Hopefully England brings it home… but if not, at least I’ll be bringing your hot water back on !

And don’t worry as a leak detection specialist VAR won’t be needed to spot the leak.
