Engineered oak floor reinstatement, sanding & finishing completed this week following the removal of an internal wall.

It wasn’t about making the floor look brand new, but rather to reinstate the removed sections so the repaired area blended naturally back into the existing floor while keeping the original character and patina throughout the room.

Damaged sections were carefully replaced, integrated, sanded, and refinished to bring everything back together as one continuous surface.

Really pleased with how seamlessly the reinstated boards disappeared back into the floor once finished.

A more modern approach:

🔥 Floating fire
📺 TV mounted clean, not buried into the wall
🪵 Subtle panelling to add depth and texture

Less bulky.
More intentional.
Something that actually fits the room — not takes it over.

This is a hallway we’ve recently completed.

What started as under-utilised space under the stairs is now:

🐶 A built-in dog house
👟 Hidden shoe storage
🧺 Tumble dryer cupboard
🗄️ Custom drawer and shelving

A much better use of the space and everything has its place now.

Someone was feeling left out…

Our puppy decided the dust sheet was the perfect place to supervise while some work was underway recently.

🪚 hallway project mid-flow…

This space under the stairs started out as unused dead space.

The plan is to turn it into:

✔ Hidden shoe storage
✔ A tidy dog space
✔ Tumble dryer cupboard
✔ Custom shelving above

All built to fit the space perfectly rather than relying on flat-pack storage.

Still a bit to go, but it’s starting to come together nicely.

I’ll post the finished result soon 👍

Bespoke understairs storage with a clean, handleless finish.

This project was all about making the most of an awkward space while keeping the result sleek and uncluttered. We designed and built custom storage with handleless fronts, including a cupboard for the washing machine, integrated shelving, and a drawer unit alongside it.

Everything was made to fit the space precisely, giving the customer practical storage without compromising on appearance.
