After much much much deliberation we have come to the decision that we will be closing WT Hume and son soon. Unfortunately the current business climate has made the decision for us... We would however like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers, old and new for your continued support over very nearly 60 years!. I know l speak for all past family members when l say we have been so very fortunate to have the best customers over all these years who we have got to know so well and will miss greatly... ☹️

LAURA ASHLEY - RELAUNCHING IN MELTON MOWBRAY

We are very pleased to announce that Laura Ashley Lighting is relaunching, with the full, expanded range available from Humes Lighting & Electrical at prices which continue to beat both the manufacturer and also Next, who will be stocking the full Laura Ashley Home range.

Over the next couple of weeks the store on Norman Way in Melton Mowbray will undergo a minor refit to accommodate new Laura Ashley lighting products and also, something new for us, Laura Ashley Mirrors. Please call in to view progress.

In the meantime we are currently handling around £20,000 of Laura Ashley stock at pre-launch clearance prices. Products include table lamps, floor lamps, wall and ceiling lights chandeliers & shades, with prices starting from just £25! These will not be on the shelf long, so don’t miss an opportunity.

Table lamps make great Christmas presents. This beautiful glass Pineapple lamps comes complete with shade. Boxed stock is available from the shop on Norman Way (usual opening hours apply).
