A strip down service on a Baxi UK heat only boiler I installed a few years ago .
These boilers are really quick to dismantle and gain access to the heat exchanger for cleaning and maintenance. 👌🏼

Completed a combi boiler change in . This was a challenge as the old boiler had a twin pipe flue system above the suspended ceiling . Had to cut sections of the ceiling to gain access and carry out the installation of the new flue . Installed a lovely Baxi UK 424 combi boiler and on opentherm . 👍🏻

I fitted an S15 Aquabion UK water conditioner to a very good client of mine based in . After explaining the pros and cons of a conditioner vs water softener the aquabion was chosen 👍🏻. I’ve fitted quite a lot of these units and the end user has always been happy with the performance.

Here’s what Aquabion say about there product :

Limescale has an impact on boilers, pipework, bathrooms, kitchens and household appliances. The limescale problem can be addressed using water softeners but this process has drawbacks including sodium being released into the water, loss of cupboard space, ongoing salt purchases, a requirement for a separate feed to drinking water taps and potentially more complex and expensive installations.

As an alternative to water softeners, consider using an Aquabion Water Conditioner. The Aquabion utilises a zinc sacrificial anode that changes the structure of the limescale to create a non-adhering lime (Aragonite). No valuable minerals are lost and the water is perfectly drinkable. There is minimal loss of space for the householder and no maintenance required. The lifespan of the Aquabion is 7 years and we will contact the householder at this time to recommend a replacement unit.

Many manufacturers have tried to design products that create non-adhering lime, but the problem has always been fouling. Fouling is where the non-adhering lime builds up in the body of the device and can potentially reduce flow and increase pressure. The Aquabion is the only water conditioner that incorporates swirling elements that create turbulence, and prevent fouling. This is called self-cleaning.

A recent heating update completed in . Ageing boiler and cylinder configuration replaced with a Main eco combination boiler ( 5 year warranty) and Eph wireless controls connected via opentherm to give our client much improved efficiency. The heating system was flushed clean , a complete new gas run installed and some nice little red Talon clips just to make a difference as well . Contact us for all your heating and plumbing work 👍🏻
