🚧WE'RE HIRING | COMMERCIAL SURVEYOR / QUANTITY SURVEYOR 🚧
Graft Group is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join our team, supporting projects across the Construction, Civils and Rail sectors.
Working across multiple projects, you will be responsible for applications for payment, commercial reporting, cost monitoring and supporting the financial performance of our contracts.
Location: South Wales – Supporting projects nationwide
Salary: £45,000–£65,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
👷 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment.
• Produce and maintain Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability.
• Manage variations, additional works and compensation events.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams and the accounts department.
• Provide regular commercial updates to the directors.
✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• Previous Quantity Surveying or commercial experience within construction or civil engineering.
• Experience with CVRs, valuations and payment applications.
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts and variations.
• Strong organisational, communication and Excel skills.
• Experience within Rail or Infrastructure is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
