🚧 RECENTLY COMPLETED | NEATH PORT TALBOT HOSPITAL 🚧

Another successful project completed by Raynes! 💪

We were called in with a tight deadline of just 7 days to complete over 400m² of tarmac patch repairs and pathway works at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.

With careful planning, hard work and a strong team effort, we got the job completed within the required timeframe. ✅

Works included:
🔹 Saw cutting and breaking out existing surfaces
🔹 Installation of new path edgings
🔹 Application of tack coat
🔹 Tarmac patch repairs and resurfacing works
🔹 Bitumen banding to joints for a quality finish

Another project delivered under pressure, with a focus on quality workmanship, efficiency and keeping everything on schedule. 👏

Raynes are looking for a Yard Person

Job Title: Yard person
Location: at Raynes yard
Job Type: Full-time

Job Role:
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized construction yard to support daily project operations. You will manage the loading, unloading, and storage of materials and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
Inventory Control: Count, check, and log incoming and outgoing stock.
Yard Maintenance: Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
Equipment Care: Conduct basic maintenance and safety checks on tools.
Waste Management: Sort construction waste into correct recycling bays.
Team Support: Assist drivers and site staff with loading equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: Previous work in a construction yard or warehouse environment.
Licences: Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) or Telehandler licence is highly preferred.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy loads and work outdoors in all weather.
Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures.
Skills: Good communication skills and a reliable, punctual attitude.
CSCS Card or working towards

🏫 Another Roofing Project Completed by Raynes! 🏠

We’re pleased to share another completed roofing project at St Martins School! 👏

The works included:

🔹 Removal of the existing slate roof, felt and battens.
🔹 Installation of new Cambrian slate to Redland specification.
🔹 New black fascia boards.
🔹 New ogee guttering and downpipes.

A great result, giving the building a fresh, smart finish with quality materials and workmanship throughout. ✅

Another flat roof transformation completed by the team at Raynes! 👌

For this project, we:
✅ Removed the existing roof
✅ Installed new insulation
✅ Fitted new 18mm OSB decking
✅ Installed new PVC plastics and guttering
✅ Finished with a high-quality EPDM rubber membrane

A complete flat roof renewal, giving this property a durable, weather-resistant and clean finish for years to come. 💪
