Right materials for the right job. 🛠️💪

Today’s focus: Structural durability. We replaced failing brickwork below the DPC with high-strength Engineering Bricks.

Unlike standard facing bricks, engineering bricks are built to hold back ground moisture and withstand the elements, keeping the damp proof course effective and the home dry. 🏠💦

Residential Renovation: Precision in the Details

On this recent bedroom project, we took the walls back to the original brickwork for a comprehensive refresh. Beyond the primary installation of LVT flooring and a new window cill, the focus was on high-quality joinery.

We installed custom-fabricated 120mm square-edge skirting with a bespoke chamfer. To ensure longevity and a clean aesthetic, we utilised clear silicone for floor seals and precision caulking on all architrave and skirting tops.

Today’s project was all about clean lines. We boarded up an old serving hatch and finished it off by plastering three walls for a perfectly smooth surface. It’s amazing how much a fresh plaster job can change the feel of a room. 🧱🛋️
