Another rental property underwent essential improvements to ensure compliance with current regulations, alongside modifications to expand the parking area.
The initial task involved clearing the front garden and constructing a new pathway utilizing block paving in conjunction with 10mm gravel. Both sides required thorough clearance and levelling before additional 10mm gravel was applied.
In the rear garden, the ground was leveled using topsoil and grass seed.
Two additional parking spaces were created, enclosed by a picket fence. The surface was prepared with Type-1 sub-base and 20mm gravel to enhance durability and stability.

This project kept us up at night due to the challenge of dealing with rotting timber logs that threatened to cause the neighbor's garden to collapse into the customer's garden. To address this, we decided to build a new timber sleeper wall in front of the old logs. First, we cleared the area by removing a climb­ing frame and playhouse, as the customer no longer wanted a large green structure in their garden.

We laid the sleepers flat to maximize the wall's strength and applied waterproofing paint along with a DPM membrane to help prolong the timber's life. Naturally, such work disturbed the grass, so we replaced the old lawn with fresh turf. Additionally, we made a slight adjustment to the plan by constructing a new brick wall that perfectly matched the existing brickwork.

While the project took a bit longer than expected due to holidays and some unforeseen challenges, we ultimately completed it successfully, transforming and stabilizing the space.
Hopefully we will be back next year to rebuild the steps and lay a new patio above the new sleepers.

A little block paving path the lads laid this week it’s part of a larger project that’s not quite finished yet we should have it finished on Monday just before I finally take a long overdue holiday with the family.

It’s been bloody hot lately not that we are complaining however doing landscaping it’s become more challenging in the heat however 
we managed to transform this customer's garden with an old pond that needed to be filled in. We levelled the existing ground, imported 12 tonnes of topsoil, and finished with brand-new turf. It's amazing what can be achieved when the right team and supplier show up on time, thanks to

This week has been quite a challenge, with all three vans experiencing issues. The trailer had a flat tyre, and delays in delivery meant we fell behind schedule. Weeks like this can really test you, but I’m grateful to have an incredible team and family's support through tough times. On a more positive note, we managed to complete a few jobs, including installing a garden office concrete base, involving a full dig-out, Type 1 base, and C25 concrete.

Here is our latest project now that it’s finished. We wanted to give the garden a slight refresh without overshadowing the existing planting area’s beauty. We began with a small sandstone patio, which served as a focal point for the sandstone cobblestone paths—why go straight when you can carve a winding route through the garden that blends in rather than stands out? On the patio, we installed a 3x3 aluminium pergola surrounded by privacy screens on all four sides. Behind it, a slatted fence was added to conceal the empty space left after removing the old summer house. The client also requested some extra lighting to highlight specific areas of the garden. As it was quite a sizeable project, we had some help from our trusted friends.
