We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Security Engineer.
Our business has steadily grown since we established in 2010 as an electrical & data contracting company, we have since also moved into the security and air conditioning sectors.
We gained SSAIB accreditation in 2020 and are now able to offer a great position for a skilled person with good organisational skills to be involved in this side of the business.
• Job Title: Security Engineer
• Location: Mainly around the Yorkshire region but we do cover customers nationwide so would be minimal working away.
Day To Day Responsibilities Of The Role and experience needed:
• Install, maintain, and commission security systems following industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with access control, fire and security systems.
• Provide technical support to customers as required.
• Keep accurate records of all work completed.
• Knowledge of IP systems & basic networking is essential.
• Knowledge of fire & security system installation techniques, equipment, and tools.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, standards and health & safety.
• Ability to work independently is a must.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed however we do try to schedule work predominantly within the working week.
• Role will be primarily security biased but may be required to aid other areas of the business as needed, eg installing data cabling, containment for electrical or air conditioning systems.
• Valid and clean driver's license.
A good understanding of Paxton, Progeny, Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy, Hikvision & Concept Pro products would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
Salary: £32,240.00-£37,440.00 per year depending on experience, based on a 40hr week, overtime paid after 40hrs.
