We secured this very large fencing contract at the end of October this year.
what made us stand out from the rest of the contractors was Successfully managing this project from start to finish, everything from logistics to fair pricing. over 200 meters of fencing—including supply, fitting, and painting.
To help us win this project we had to show the client we could manage this project efficiently, and professionally we broke it down into three stages for the client, this shows the client we aren't just a small business, we are a professional one.
key phases:
Phase 1: Planning and Materials
• Finalize Scope and Contract: Double-check the contract details are correct.
• Site Survey: to Ensure a detailed survey has been conducted to confirm ground conditions, exact measurements, gate locations, and any potential obstacles (utility lines, property boundaries).
• Material Procurement: Order all necessary materials (fencing panels/posts, concrete, fixings, paint, brushes/sprayers) well in advance to account for potential supplier delays. Over 200m is a substantial order.
Phase 2: Scheduling and Ex*****on
• Resource Management: we allocated a fitting team as well as a painting teams. You will need a clear schedule for a large scale job of this calibre.
• Logistics & Delivery: we were able to show the client we had Planned for material deliveries to the site an Ensure there is adequate, secure space for storage that complies with site rules and doesn't obstruct access.
• Painting: Coordinate the painting phase carefully with the team, paying close attention to weather forecasts. Painting outdoors typically requires specific temperature ranges and dry conditions to ensure the product cures correctly and lasts
Phase 3: Completion and Handover
• Quality Control: we Conducted a thorough walk-through of the entire 200m stretch with our client to ensure everything meets the client's specifications and quality standards
• Client Handover: we have officially signed off this project after a final inspection with the client.
