APAC, were out exploring some of Treharris yesterday, enjoying some of the much needed sun.

Whilst walking through the woods we stumbled across the remains of Pen-y-Graig farmhouse and farmstead.

After a little exploration we came across this pair of stone gate posts with square cut holes. Quite a nice find, anyone have any idea on the date of such posts?

Continuing our walk into the nearby forest we also stumbled across an uprooted tree, with a slab of bedrock caught up in it's roots. The bedrock contained some lovely examples of fossilised vegetation.
