Yesterday we went to Meltdown Fighting Championships and had 3 tough fights. Although we didn't get the results we wanted Paul, Harry and Logan did the club proud.

Logan was up first against a talented lad that used his experience to overcome logans pressure. It's not an excuse but we were close to pulling logan out with an injury but I'm glad we never as valuable experience was gained and this kid will go as far as he wants in this sport.

Harry was next against a very good wrestler. He stuck to the gameplan well and improved as the rounds went on. Unfortunately the inevitable takedown happened and even though Harry did everything right the other lads experience and wrestling gave him the edge.

Last up was Paul with a new opponent on a week's notice which makes no difference to Paul as he will fight anyone. After a close first round and a good start to the 2nd Paul got caught by a choke in a scramble. Again we will learn from this and move on to the next one.

So proud of the boys for the effort they put in and congratulations to their opponents. We will be back soon.
