All built up and ready for the Predator machine to come out tomorrow!

Next up, PRB Antalya top coat and a traditional coloured wet dash (roughcast) finish.

A lot of work goes into getting the preparation right before the final finish goes on! 👌

Grendon Court – 12 Months On

Back at Grendon Court this week carrying out some further work.

This time last year, we completely stripped off the old lath, replaced it with new larch laths and applied a traditional three-coat PRB Systems Ltd Belle Opaque lime render system, finished in Ton Pierre.

A huge amount of work went into getting this property looking the way it does, from the preparation and re-lathing through to the final finish.

Twelve months on, the render still looks just as good as the day we finished it.

Always satisfying to return to a job and see how well the work has stood the test of time.

Little hallway finished this week 👌

This one was completed by Bobby Deans on his own and he’s done a cracking job. Plenty of care taken with the prep, including fully taping and protecting the new pine staircase and surrounding areas.

Nice clean finish and everything left tidy when completed.

Great to see his work and confidence progressing job by job. 👏

After completing the front last year, we’re now working on a section of the rear where damp has become an issue.

Existing render hacked off and ready for a breathable lime system from PRB Systems Ltd, allowing the walls to manage moisture naturally.

We’re looking forward to seeing this one finished.

Lovely oak-framed orangery completed this week 👌

Built by Dale Davies Construction with all plastering completed by DSL Plastering.

Plenty of detail on this one, working around the exposed oak frame and roof lantern to get everything finished clean and sharp while keeping the original stonework exposed.

Really pleased with how this one turned out .

Nice little job completed 👌

We plastered this extension recently and got to see it again this week after it had been mist coated. Always nice seeing the finished plaster once it’s had its first coat of paint — really pleased with how this one turned out.
