KDB Joinery (Montrose) Limited is currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced joiner due to continued growth and an increasing workload.

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson with a strong background in kitchen fitting, wet wall installations and second-fix joinery, who takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship.

Position details:

• PAYE employment
• Company van supplied
• Workwear supplied
• Competitive rate of pay (based on experience)
• Long-term, stable work for the right candidate

Essential requirements:

• Fully qualified joiner (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in the trade
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard without supervision
• Reliability and good communication skills
• References available on request

Applicants should ideally be based in Montrose or the surrounding area due to the nature and location of current projects.

A couple of other installs completed this week 🔨

I replaced this old rotten timber door and window-panel combination with a new anthracite uPVC set to perfectly match the property 🤩

Meanwhile, Justin upgraded the old timber doors and window on this outbuilding to modern white uPVC (unfortunately no before photos for this one 🫣).

Both properties now benefit from a low-maintenance finish with no risk of rot, improved security, and a fresh new look that will last for years to come. 💪🏡

Recent internal upgrade completed 👌

We completely stripped out all original architraves, skirtings, doors and door frames throughout the property and replaced everything with new.

✅ New door frames throughout
✅ Oak internal doors fitted
✅ New MDF facings and skirtings
✅ 20 doors installed in total

Massive transformation from the original finish and has completely modernised the inside of the property.

Unfortunately only managed to get one quick before photo before work started, but the after photos show the difference 🔥

Under-stair cupboard converted into a WC alongside Martin Milne Plumbing & Heating Engineer — turned into a bit of a competition over who could bang their head on the door the most 😵‍💫
