Another lovely job completed in Overton for one of the nicest couples we’ve had the pleasure of working for. 😊

This project included full prep and decoration of the hallway and bedroom, refreshing all woodwork, and fitting stunning new LVT flooring throughout. Ace put in the hard work on the prep, and the customers chose some beautiful colours and wallpaper that really transformed the space.

A big thank you to our lovely customers for looking after us (the M&S biscuits were definitely appreciated! 🍪😂).

A huge thank you from C B Maintenance & Son!

On Saturday, our son Ace completed the Lakes Ultra Challenge, 100km in an incredible 17 hours of running and walking, raising over £1,100 for Mental Health Matters.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated, supported, shared his fundraising page, and especially to our customers who contributed towards this fantastic cause. Your generosity has helped make a real difference.

🎉 We are so proud of what Ace has achieved. Crossing that finish line after 100km took determination, resilience, and probably a little bit of stubbornness too!

😂 And if you happen to see Ace walking a little strangely while decorating this week, don’t worry, he’s not trying out a new dance move. He’s currently dealing with 12 blisters from the challenge, but he’s still powering through and getting the jobs done!

When Westgate Tyres asked us to freshen up the front of the garage, we didn’t realise we’d also been hired as part-time gardeners… 🌱🤣

Safe to say the weeds had fully settled into the sign and were close to paying rent 😳😂

The full exterior has now been properly refreshed:
✔️ All problem areas primed
✔️ Dodgy brickwork sealed and treated
✔️ Fresh coats of hard-wearing Magnolia Exterior SANDTEX applied
✔️ Black border areas repainted for a crisp finish
✔️ Weeds officially evicted 🌿❌

Massive thanks to the owners for the brilliant feedback and even better, more work already booked in after saying:
“Now we’ve found someone reliable.” 🙌

☀️ Bank Holiday Monday… most people are at BBQs or in beer gardens… meanwhile we’re halfway up ladders painting a garage in 25 degree heat wondering where our life choices went wrong 🤣🎨

But when the top local garage finally gets a day closed (they ONLY shut Sundays and Bank Holidays 😳), you grab the chance and crack on 💪

A little apology for the lack of posts recently from C B Maintenance & Son.

We’ve had a difficult few weeks as a family, sadly losing a true gentleman who meant the world to us all. ❤️

Amongst the sadness, we’ve also had some lovely moments, welcoming a beautiful new little niece into the family, Ace completing his incredible 40 miles for St John’s Hospice, and of course Mr C B celebrating his birthday in style 🍺

Despite everything life throws at us, one thing that never changes is our commitment to our wonderful customers. We’ve been as busy as ever, and we will always continue to provide the reliable, high-standard service we pride ourselves on.

We’ve recently finished refreshing the ceilings and walls in this absolutely stunning barn conversion in Arkholme, and what a property this is 😍.

From the exposed beams and stonework to the incredible open space and natural light, this room is simply WOW from every angle. It’s been a real pleasure working in such a unique home for a lovely family.

We’ve been a bit MIA on here lately – life and work have been non-stop!

Ace has been deep in training mode for his TWO ultra marathons coming up in the next 4 weeks (madness 💪), and Mr CB has definitely been kept busy by Mrs B in the meantime 😅

Here’s a recent Hall, Stairs & Landing transformation for a lovely customer… and what a difference it’s made!
