We want to take a moment to respond to the incredible efforts of our friends at the Hedgehog Rescue team. We understand it’s been a busy time for them, and we’re proud to lend our support!

A huge shoutout to the amazing volunteers working tirelessly at the new Rehabilitation Centre. Their dedication, working 7 days a week, is truly inspiring! 💚

We’re honored to be part of this fantastic project in Rhondda Cynon Taff. Sarah and the team are making a significant contribution to the community in Pontypridd and South Wales. 🌱

Every small donation makes a big difference in saving the lives of hedgehogs. We encourage everyone to spread the word and support this noble cause.

We apologise for being quiet on our social media, aside from admitting, releasing and managing the hedgehogs daily, we have been busy with media interviews and working at the new Rehabilitation Centre.

Our volunteers have been truly incredible, working 7 days a week there and our vision is starting to become a reality.

We also owe big thanks to and his team for their support. Having the support of first class trades people who are passionate and inspired by our work and prepared to donate their time really means the world to us.

We still need the help and support of you the public, can you really push and spread the word that every penny counts at the moment and anyone no matter how small a donation is helping to save the life of a hedgehog.

Our charity is a volunteer based one, covering every role we have, no one is paid or receives expenses they all give their time for the cause.

Electricians must hold recognized Level 3 qualifications for specialized tasks such as Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and low-carbon installations.

This is due to a shift from company-wide certifications to mandatory individual competence rules.

The industry-wide regulations mandate specific qualifications and standards:EICR & Testing Work: To complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports, you must hold a formal Level 3 periodic inspection and testing qualification (such as the City & Guilds 2391-52), the 18th Edition (BS 7671) certificate, and have two years of documented experience.

The previous "experience-only" route is no longer valid.

Low-Carbon Installations: You must hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) to install EV charging equipment, solar PV systems, and battery storage.

Wiring Regulations: All work must comply with BS 7671 standards, including the updated amendment.

These rules apply directly to all individuals doing the physical work, including employees, subcontractors, and agency workers—not just the business owner.
